DIY renueva tu blusa. DIY renew your blouse.

Volvemos a vernos otro viernes!
We return to see other Friday!
In this case with an idea for cuztomize our blouse, to give a little heart to our basic clothes and through this form to do them unique and incomparable.

We need: Basic blouse, neddle and wire, fabric glue and beads.
.

I tried that all beads were to sew type because I feel more confident that pasting them but this was impossible. Beads you see will be sewed and the smallest ones will be pasted, since when I wash my blouse, I will wash it by hand.

To know where we want the beads located we will put on the blouse and we will put pin to orientate.

Firstly, I sewed the transparent beads and then I pasted the purple beads. To stick our beads is important to place a carton or plastic inside our blouse to avoid that the lower and upper fabric stick together.
I introduced the beads with a pineapple form, because is a summery and funny form.

Finally we put over our sticked beads weight during two hours and now we can enjoy our new blouse!

Today I say goodbye with some sentences of one of my favorites books because of its dialogues, "The Picture of Dorian Gray":

"The laugh is not a bad beginning of a friendship, much less; not a bad ending."
"I adore simple pleasures. They are the last refuge of the complex."
"Soul and body, body and soul, which enclose mystery! Something animal in the soul, and the body has its moments of spirituality. The senses can be refined, and intellect can degrade."

DIY capa de disfraz. DIY cape costume.

Hi to everybody and have a nice Tuesday! What about this week kick off? I hope with energy!
Today I give you a different DIY because I did not do it for me though in the future I am sure that I will use the idea for my next costume. Last weekend we celebrated my surprise boyfriend´s birthday with medieval thematic, so I will teach you how I made the layer for his costume, let's see wht do you think!

Required materials are: scissors, meter, tailor soap, fabric and needle and wire or sewing machine.

Firstly we should bend the fabric by half and mark on the top a semicircle, of 10 cm, then and guiding ourselves for the center of the semicircle, we mark the length we want in our  layer, I chose one meter so I did a mark down and moving the meter we go on marking until we have a curve line. Then we just have to cut that we have marked and we will have the form of our cape.

In this case, I drew a red fabric cross, I cut it and sewed it in the center of the cape, simulating the Templars cape.

We only have to sew the tie to be able to tie the cape.
We cut a fine stirp from the same fabric which we used before. We put on with pins around the neck and bend the fabric of the cape to cover the tie and this could leave inside and we sew it.
And we have our cape ready!

I used a normally fabric so I sew the hem to prevent fraying but if you use rasete or fieltro you will save this step.

I hope you liked the idea and although we are not in carnival or halloween season, you encorage to do any costume party, that always can be improvised any costume like this very easy, and our parties are more funnier ;)

Today I say goodbye with this song since while I was doing this DIY hearing the last CD of Ivan Ferreiro, I am sure that I put this song for more than five times...Ivan Ferreiro – Pájaro azul

DIY Maxi falda. DIY Maxi skirt.

Hi to everybody!
I hope you have enjoyed this weekend.
Today I give you a really cheaper and smart idea for these days in which summer is coming, a long skirt that we could perform in only one morning ;)

Necesitaremos: Tela, tijeras, metro, jaboncillo de sastre, cinta elástica y aguja e hilo o máquina de coser.
We will need: Fabric, scissors, meter, tailor soap, elastic tape and needle and wire or sewing machine.

Firstly, we should bend the fabric by half and mark on the top the measurement equal to our hip half size, in my case, my hiop is 90 cm since I will mark 45 cm.
We mark 1 meter long and in the opposite base 65 cm and we mark a line from the first point (that which mark the half hip distance) to the last one in order it could be widen to leave the skirt moves once finish.

A continuación cortamos por donde hemos marcado.
Then, we cut the fabric following the line marked.

Following this, the locate the elastic tape around the hip and hold it with pins, this should measure our waist half distance, mine measures 70 cm so this tape measures 35 cm in total.

The next step is to sew the elastic tape to the skirt, holding the fabric stretched in order it finally could be elastic and gathered at the end.

Finally, we will only to sew our skirt's bottom, although in this case I occured to perform a lateral overture since I unstitched a little the seam and sewed the bottom again in the two new parts left. I know I could have done it before and then save time while sewing and unstitching but in this case this idea came to my head at the end. You can learn from my dismiss and do it at the beginning only calculating the overture distance and sewing the left part with a simple backstitch.

What do you think? I hope you liked the tutorial and you tell me down the text all you want.
This week I posted a few days later but on Tuesday I will return with a new idea.
I say goodbye to Tuesday with the soundtrack of Game of Thrones, because the last chapter was so impact to me that I have not taken on my head in all week and I want to see the next tomorrow! :)

Feliz domingo! Have a nice Sunday!

DIY tarro decorativo. DIY decorative tin.

Hi all people, how did you go on Tuesday? Probably you feel like coming Friday, cheer up, every time weeks are shorter!

Today I come with a deco DIY, a tin for keep our straps or put candels or other thing that you want.
Required materials are: Thin cord, silicon gun, CD, scissors o cutter, tin.

Firstly, we start rolling the cord around the tin and sticking with the silicon gun.

Once everything is sticked, we cut the CD with the scissors or the cutter.

All of us have any CD we ashamed of, since this is our moment to remove the evidences...

Finally, we only have to stick the CD pieces with silicon gun on our tin and that is all!

Like the french poet Jean de la Fontaine said "The imagination has over us much more strong than the reality".

And as this sentence I love it I leave you also a musical group full charged of imagination and a song that shows it:
Radiohead – Idioteque

DIY kimono.

Ya es viernes!!
It is Friday!!

Greetings to everybody, it is already Friday and I bring you a really practical DIY because it is quite simple to be carried out and it is this coming summer trend, so if you cheer up, you will save money and will be in fashion. Let's start with ou kimono!

Materials needed are: 1 meter width and length of fabric, fabric lining, ruler, scissors, tailor soap and needle & thread or sewing machine.

In my case, I chose a fabric lining because the fabric selected was so transparent but I strongly recommend you to choose a more opaque fabric and avoid sew again all the fabric lining. Moreover, the kimono will have wider sleeves and the interior lining will be seen. Summarising, with the lining fabric, the the kimono will not be so cool than how it could be.

Firstly, we bend the fabric in half length side and later in half wide side. We draw some lines of  35cm high and 23cm wide      in the bottom part and then we cut the remove the excess part.

We open the fabric and hold the bottom part of the sleeve with pins. Then, we sew it.

Following this, we make a vertical line in the center of the fabric; I bend it by half and ironed it in order to only have to mark the line with the tailor soap but you can use a ruler or a meter; we cut only the upper fabric following the line mark.

Finally, we mark all the boundary and the neck with pins and then we sew it with a simple backstitch.

Our kimono is done! You only have to perform the turn-up in sleeves and bottom.

This is the final result. I hope you liked it and you know you can leave behind your comments and addme to your list in order to follow my Tuesday and Friday publications.

A bailar!

Lastly, since in my lovely town it is being celebrated the local fair, I say goodbye to you all with a classic that does not miss from any fair. Let's dance!

DIY Reutiliza tu viejo collar. Reusing your old necklace.

I hope all you have a happy Tuesday and thanks for visiting my blog. Every Tuesday I will propose you a easy and fast DIY to make using these former things that we are ready to throw or give. Our today DIY is about changing a basic type chain necklace and make an ethnic details necklace.

Required materials are: Chain type necklace, fine tie, beads and pliers.

I used earrings as beads because after having used earrings for all my live they started to give me allergy a year ago, since I have many earrings in the drawer without using  and this is another way to use what we do not want.

Firstly we take our tie and will insert it around the whole chain, like sewing, getting it from the top and when it leaves the bottom we will introduce it again from the bottom to the top.
When we are ready, make a little knot at the end side and we burn the tie end.

The next and last that I did was to bend the earrings wire and put this on the necklace. I tighten the wire with the pliers for not let it scaping ;)

This is all! How you can see it is very fast and easy and we give a new appearance to our more boring necklaces. You can tell me all you want down this text.

Today I leave you with a one of my favourites songs for these days in which we want to stay relaxed and dedicated to our issues.

The National – Runaway

Have a good Tuesday, have a good week and we will see on Friday!
