Hi to everybody and have a nice Wednesday! Today I come with a request from my friend Anita, she had black high heels which she was tired, since she let me them in order to see what we could do. The platform of the shoes was severely damaged, so for hidding this things, I thought in putting a glitter layer and I love the result, because they are finally smart, how you can see, I did not use the glitter a lot, I only used it for the heel and the platform to do them a single touch.
Empezamos!
Let's start!
Necesitaremos: Nuestros tacones para reformar, purpurina de los colores que queramos, pegamento de cola, esponjita para esparcir la cola, cinta de carrocero y un tarrito para mezclar la purpurina.
We need: Our high heels to be reformed, glitter colors we want, glue, sponge to spread the glue, tape and a bowl to mix the glitter.
Colocamos la cinta de carrocero por las zonas que no queramos transformar.
We put the tape on the surfaces that we do not want to transform.
Mezclamos la purpurina y extendemos el pegamento con la esponjita primero en una zona y cuando lo cubramos con purpurina volvemos a extender la cola en la siguiente zona.
We mix the glitter and extend the glue with a sponge, firtly in a zone and when covered with glitter we return extending the glue in the next zone.
Solo tenemos que echar la purpurina sobre el pegamento, yo cogí la purpurina con los dedos y así fui colocándola sobre el pegamento, aunque no es la forma más limpia, porque sabéis que la purpurina se pega por todos lados, para mi es la forma más rápida y fácil de controlar la cantidad que va callendo.
We just have to take the glitter over the glue, I caught the glitter with my finger and by this way I was putting it above the glue, this is not the cleanest way because you know that the glitter stick on all places, for me is the fastest and easiest way to control the quantity that is falling.
Repetimos el proceso por todas las zonas que queramos y dejamos secar unos minutos.
Por último rociamos nuestra laca del pelo por todo el tacón para que la purpurina quede bien pegada.
Después de esto dejamos un día que seque todo y listos para la pista de baile!
We repeat the process on all the zones that we want, and we let dry few minutes.
Finally, we spray our hairspray around the heel since the glitter stay well stucked.
After that, we let it dry during a day and we will be ready for the dance floor!
Qué os parece? A mi me encanta el resultado. Os dejo una foto desde cerca para que veáis mejor la mezcla de purpurina. Hay infinidad de combinaciones posibles y es muy fácil de hacer así que animaos a "estrenar" vuestros tacones éste verano y lo mejor, todo muy barato.
