DIY kimono.

Ya es viernes!!
It is Friday!!

Hola a todas, ya es viernes y hoy os traigo un DIY muy práctico porque es fácil de hacer y es tendencia éste verano, así que si os animáis os ahorraréis un dinerito y estaréis a la última. Empezamos con nuestro kimono!
Greetings to everybody, it is already Friday and I bring you a really practical DIY because it is quite simple to be carried out and it is this coming summer trend, so if you cheer up, you will save money and will be in fashion. Let's start with ou kimono!

Los materiales necesarios son: Tela de 1m de ancho y largo, forro de tela, metro, tijeras, jabón de sastre, y aguja e hilo o máquina de coser.
Materials needed are: 1 meter width and length of fabric, fabric lining, ruler, scissors, tailor soap and needle & thread or sewing machine.

Yo he necesitado un forro porque la tela que elegí era demasiado transparente pero os recomiendo encarecidamente que elijáis una tela más opaca y evitéis tener que coser todo el forro que además el kimono tendrá unas mangas anchas y se verá el interior y con el forro no queda tan bonito como podría ser.
In my case, I chose a fabric lining because the fabric selected was so transparent but I strongly recommend you to choose a more opaque fabric and avoid sew again all the fabric lining. Moreover, the kimono will have wider sleeves and the interior lining will be seen. Summarising, with the lining fabric, the the kimono will not be so cool than how it could be.

En primer lugar, doblamos la tela por la mitad  a lo largo y de nuevo por la mitad pero a lo ancho ésta vez, en la parte inferior trazamos unas lineas de  35cm alto y 23cm ancho, cortamos éste trozo.

Firstly, we bend the fabric in half length side and later in half wide side. We draw some lines of  35cm high and 23cm wide      in the bottom part and then we cut the remove the excess part.

 

 

Abrimos la tela y aguantamos con alfileres la parte inferior de la manga para luego coserla.
We open the fabric and hold the bottom part of the sleeve with pins. Then, we sew it.

Hacemos una linea vertical en el centro de la tela; yo la doblé por la mitad y la planché para solo tener que marcar la linea con jabón de sastre pero podéis usar regla o metro; cortamos solo la tela superior guiándonos por la línea.
Following this, we make a vertical line in the center of the fabric; I bend it by half and ironed it in order to only have to mark the line with the tailor soap but you can use a ruler or a meter; we cut only the upper fabric following the line mark.

Marcamos con alfileres todo el contorno y el cuello y lo cosemos con un pespunte sencillo.
Finally, we mark all the boundary and the neck with pins and then we sew it with a simple backstitch.

Ya está listo nuestro kimono! Solo tenéis que cogerle el dobladillo a mangas y bajo.
Our kimono is done! You only have to perform the turn-up in sleeves and bottom.

DIY Reutiliza tu viejo collar. Reusing your old necklace.

                                                                                   
Feliz martes a todas y gracias por visitarme. Cada martes os propondré un DIY fácil y rápido de hacer para aprovechar esas cosillas que estamos apunto de tirar o regalar. Nuestro DIY  de hoy es sobre cambiar un collar básico tipo cadena y convertirlo en un collar con detalles étnicos.
I hope all you have a happy Tuesday and thanks for visiting my blog. Every Tuesday I will propose you a easy and fast DIY to make using these former things that we are ready to throw or give. Our today DIY is about changing a basic type chain necklace and make an ethnic details necklace.

Los materiales necesarios son: Collar tipo cadena, lazo fino, abalorios y alicates.
Required materials are: Chain type necklace, fine tie, beads and pliers.

Yo he usado pendientes a modo de abalorios porque después de usar pendientes toda la vida me empezaron a dar alergia hace menos de un año, así que tengo muchos pendientes por el cajón sin usar y es una forma más de reutilizar lo que ya no queremos.
I used earrings as beads because after having used earrings for all my live they started to give me allergy a year ago, since I have many earrings in the drawer without using  and this is another way to use what we do not want.

En primer lugar cogeremos nuestro lazo y lo iremos metiendo por toda la cadena, será como coser, se mete por arriba y cuando salga abajo lo volveremos a introducir para que salga por arriba.
Cuando lo tengamos listo le hacemos un pequeño nudito en el extremo y quemamos la punta del lazo.
Firstly we take our tie and will insert it around the whole chain, like sewing, getting it from the top and when it leaves the bottom we will introduce it again from the bottom to the top.
When we are ready, make a little knot at the end side and we burn the tie end.

Lo siguiente y último que he hecho ha sido doblar el alambre de los pendientes y colocarlo en el collar, con el alicate he apretado el alambre del pendiente para que no se escape ;)
The next and last that I did was to bend the earrings wire and put this on the necklace. I tighten the wire with the pliers for not let it scaping ;)

Ésto es todo! Cómo veréis es muy rápido y sencillo y le damos una nueva imagen a nuestros collares más aburridos. Podéis comentarme todo lo que queráis abajo de éste texto.
